KO'd Free French Sherman "Bourg La Reine"

This is a FF Sherman named "Bourg La Reine", of the 2nd French Armored Corps, which was KO'd by an 88 that killed the driver during the liberation of Phalsbourg, November 22, 1944. Driver was killed by the first shot, which was a glancing blow on the roof of his compartment which then went on to penetrate the turret. The second shot jammed the turret which convinced the crew it was time to bail out, just as the third hit which struck the tank set it on fire. This is a well documented tank, and it still stands as a monument in France to this day.
