My great grandfather was killed in September 1941, when the German paratroopers blew up a dam on Dnieper river that resulted in drowning of the Soviet brigade. This is his last photo.

My Grandfather Pfc.Teodoro(Ted) Hernandez 1927-1969 was part of the post war in Germany, enlisting in September,1945.He served in the 6th Air Vehicle Repair Squadron in Munich.Unfortunately he passed when I was 1yr old(rudeerude)

My grandfather began the war as a private at the age of 19 in 1941 and finished it as a lieutenant.  Participated in the battles for Stalingrad, Kiev, Prague.
