German artillery crew of a 170 mm railway gun K (E) ready to fire at the enemy during the Polish campaign.  As of May 1940 the 170-mm guns were operated by the 717 th and 718 th gun battery. 
 Characteristics of the German 170-mm cannon rail K (E): the nominal caliber - 170 mm caliber accurate - 172.6 mm, barrel length - 6,9 m, total weight - 80 tons, the maximum range - 26.1 km.
