The beginning of the 9th Army's autumn offensive in mid-November, 1944. Here, a column of tanks and armored infantry leave their jump-off points and head forward to engage the Germans.  On  Nov. 18th, 117th Infantry Regiment men rode on tanks of the 734rd Tank Battalion.

Supplies to the beaches
