Looks very much like the chassis from the German Hetzer doesn't it.

Based on the chassis of the T34 series, the Soviets was a very powerfull adversary for the German Panzers, low profile, angelplated, powerfull gun,surved well into the post WW2 era.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with Hetzer. Unless you presume that Hetzer was inspired by it. It's a T-34 chassis with a tank destroyer hull.
