Anschluss, Vienna 1938
Description
Interesting Bundesarchiv 'photo showing (front row), Hitler with Dr Artur Seyss-Inquart; second row (from left) Heydrich, Himmler and Bormann. Between Heydrich and Himmler, in third row, appears to be Karl Wolff - as with Himmler and Heydrich, wearing the Brown Shirt. Will we really ever know the role of the charming, enigmatic Wolff in the awfulness of the "SS State" ? At this stage, I doubt it ... JR.

Sorry - "from left" should have been "from right". Blame it on my being married to a very left-handed woman ... JR.
