Right, now as you mention it, it's clear. It is still amazing how many of these execution photos exist since it was absolutely forbidden to take photos of these actions. There are some faked ones as well of course.

The hands look tied, I think it is someone falling.

What's this between the two soldiers? Is somebody just deopping or is another german soldier examine the bodies if they're really dead?

How about criminals shooting civilians in Poland as a caption ?

Hi radka, that's not the "official" line. There are certain individuals on here putting their own slant on history regardless of the facts presented. And some who post pictures put their own slant on the captions. So don't take the captions as gospel....

They may be SS, and they practically shot everybody. ;-)

Err, clarifications please? Seeing as the official line regarding Poles, Jews, communists, socialists etc was that they were all 'criminals', exactly where is this picture from?
