The "enemy:" Sgt Francis Daggertt has "apprehended" a 15-year old German "soldier" in the city of Kronach. The "soldier" was a member of a group of 15 same age "soldiers." At least, the POW appears happy to have been caught. Usual process in such cases was giving the POW fresh clothes, feeding him (or her) and then classifying them as "displaced young persons" to be returned to their parents (if they were still alive).

Spanish soldiers of the 250th Infanterie-Division ("Blue Division") arriving at the Madrid station. Under its comanders Munoz Grandes and Esteban Infantes the division fought in the Northern Sector of the Eastern Front from autumn 1941 to autumn 1943. The Spaniards lost 8466 men wounded and 3934 men killed in action.
