    Yes, generally there would have been a Panther "211" in every German tank regiment, as long as the regiment's first battalion was equipped with Panthers.

    First number for the company, second one for the platoon, third one for the vehicle.

    Early Panther D (see cuppola), used in Eastern Front, 1943 probably, as they have their whole armor plates.

    This is Panther Ausf.D. I don't believe that any D models were used in the Battle of the Bulge. More likely Ausf. A and G.

    If my checking is correct then it was used by the 1st SS in the Battle of the Bulge and is now in a musem in france.
