I live in Kutno (Poland). In september 1939 commander of polish two armies "Poznan" and "Pomorze", gen. Tadeusz Kutrzeba started the counter attack directed on the unsecured wing of German 8th Army. Whole battle known as a "Battle of Bzura (river)" or "Battle of Kutno", lasted for 9 days (since 9 of september). Unfortunately, the only remains of fighting are cementaries all around the battlefield and some museums. There are neither no bunkers nor fortifications.

There's a link to a map of Poland where some of existing fortifiactions are marked

A flag next to the descripiton indicates a builder.
Soviet bunkers and shelters are the elements of so called "Molotov's line".
Polish bunkers were built before 1939 and were used in september 1939.
German bunkers "Johannisburg Stellung" were built in before the war started. "Galinde Stellung" was built in 1940.

And more precise map and galleries
