    I saw a sign that said the bulkhead is made of wood and the deck is made of real wood. I guess the rest is mde of metal, resin, plastic and urathane. saw a foto during the "construction" some worker inside the model....

    Glad to see this thread, Herr Major.
    The Kaiten are also interesting, it being so few now remain to be seen, so anything on them is a real plus.

    I do have a book on them, but that is a totally different thread.

    thanks ! those are all photos taken through the Kaiten small periscope right ?

    so there isn't any other scope there that you can look through is there ? just that one?
