Exactly, that's what separates humans from monkeys, the ability to copy each others design, and then make it better.

    Hello All,

I am currently rebuilding a Radio Control Model of the Dewoitine D-520 approx 1.6m wingspan, and since I am going to recolour the entire aircraft, I just wanted to find out if anyone has information or images of a D520 with the tail number of No 48. I can find information on No90 and a few others, but not of the one I am making. I am mainly after the aircraft history, to better familiarise myself with that aircraft. Pictures would be terrific as they will help in finishing the colouring of the plane.

For you, I will post a link to images of the Model.

Doing a bit of my own research the Dewoitine D520 Groupe de Chasse I/3 or GC I/3, operated out of Cannes_-_Mandelieu_Airport in April/May, 1940. It also operated in the Battle of France.

I can find images of the No 48 aircraft, but still no details on where it flew and who flew it.

    Beautiful model, Astroman, Bien-faites!

I wish you every success with it.
