    Question Vella Lavella,1943

    Hi,I am writing a book on Vella Lavella in 1943.I originally was going to focus on the New Zealand side of taking the island.However,I soon realised there is quite an American back story.I am keen to contact any veterans who would be willing to assist.The 35th Infantry Regt,58th NCBs were there together with other units including a black AA unit.Any help much appreciated.
