    Thanks.
Argentina got pretty much the characteristics of an small continent, so with the variety of climates is almost natural that to have good climate for wines and good climate for high quality meat.
If you have some oportunity try the Torrontes is a white wine like nothing else.

I read on one of your earlier pages a mention of Malbec.
As someone from a country with a huge reputation for very high quality wines (NZ) , I have to say, the Malbec I have had from Argentina is a fine equal to My usual preference, Merlot (in fact, I often look for the Malbec first, these days).
Coming from a New Zealander, take that as a compliment to Argentine wines. Regarding the beef: what I have chanced to have eaten, has been magnificent.
In Short, food and wine, while certainly "not everything" are certainly a good start.
    Warm Regards, Uyraell.

    Hi,
Many thanks for your reply. I must buy the book myself now to prove to my friends things they never knew about Cents!.
I think that because the engines were so reliable, (they were made by Rolls Royce), and had been proven in Spitfires, the designers only envisaged major repairs been carried out at very long intervals. This was generally the case, but of course sometimes they broke down "in the field", and thats when we, the mechanics, started work!!
