Time and time again people on the photo site are spotting WW2-era look-alikes of celebrities...please compare and decide for yourself. Here are three photos as a start:

Young Sean Connery (who indeed played a Bren gunner in 'The longest Day'):

Pic #2 looks a bit like Steve McQueen, Pic #1 does look like Sean Connery when he was younger, (Darby O'Gill&the little people.)

You're right of course, it was indeed Steve McQueen someone mentioned.

It is Harrison Ford, before he was a famous guy. He was a carpenter that occasionally got acting work on the side.

People from the UK who have nothing better to do on Christmas Day, may recall that Donald Pleasance played the blind forger in the film "The Great Escape".
He drew from his experiences in Sagan camp.

This poor guy was compared to Steve McQueen and Dirk Bogarde in the past as well. :D
