hallo all i am new on this website
complimets for the interesting and fashinating site
i like to ask a question about one of the photos
photo category GERMAN ARTILLERY
photo page 10
photo subject the shield that must have made a lot of damage
basically this photo shows a german 88-mm gun with a number of kill marks on the gun shield showing a number of aircrafts/tanks/and others targets killed i would like to know the following;
in which campaign is this gun been pictured?
which german unit does it belong to?

thanks for the photo this is the 88-mm gun in question
i suspect this to be a unit on the eastern front possibly near Stalingrad
1942
does anybody have any confirmaed information or remark?
