Beautiful. I love the Curtis P-40. One of the most underrated and under-appreciated fighters of WWII. It was largely derided as at best a "stop-gap" fighter by US commanders at the beginning of the War when it regularly beat Japanese Oscar (IJA Army version of the Zero) fighters and was more maneuverable than the Me109 at low level...

Thanks - this was a 're-work' that turned into a complete re-draw, but I am pretty happy with it now, especially the little bars at the back of the cockpit.. :)

Great pic's, I love the P-40 and all this era's aircraft. A point though, the pic's are ID'd as the "USAAC (US Army Air Corps)" -the USAAC became the USAAF(US Army Air Force) in April 1941, offically there was no US Army Air Corps in WWII.
