Hey guys! I just joined the site today in search of some ideas of where to find good WWII photos for my school project, but I already found this cool site for historical photography! Check it out:
Deleted due to numerous inaccuracies

Recommend caution.

I looked at that site, and the captioning of certain photos is shoddy in the extreme.

Vehicles wrongly identified being the most common fault.

The images may be reasonably good. The Identification of the items in them is extremely poor: as is in line with expectations of a plainly commercially orientated site.

ooo yeah, well I have found the site to be extremely useful and full of information! I haven't found any other inaccuracies though, and I guess no source is perfect. Maybe I should email the administrator about the 1946 part though :).

Google also has a Life Magazine site that has a good number of WWII photos.

No point in linking to a website that has numerous mistakes and does not correct them.
