The helmet is either the British WW2 MkII Para helmet. The second pattern Despatch rider helmet. Or a Royal Armoured Corpse Tankers helmet. Seeing as the lining has perished away, it is impossible to tell, as all the above helmets have the same shell but different linings & straps.

Yep Gunner-B has it 100% without the lining its impossible to tell.

Does it have any other markings?

Not a parachutist's helmet. The lining is wrong.
