One of my personal favorites:

Pork Chop Hill (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053183/) starring Gregory Peck as a slightly overage US infantry Lieutenant struggling to give meaning to what is little more than a small scale battle over an insignificant outpost for mere symbolism during the contentious US-Chinese truce negotiations of 1953...

More on the battle itself:

Good film! Here's one that was made a few years ago:

The Korean War seems hard-done-by when it comes to popular culture. Even the most renowned film, M*A*S*H, wasn't really about the Korean conflict and the subsequent TV show lasted longer than the war itself. Even the wiki page is kind of lame. I think another, real, attempt should be made at the story of Inchon.

I recommand The Bridges at Toko-Ri,
made in 1954, the action evolves around an aircraft carrier navy pilot played by William Holden. Great footage of carrier operation, early jets Panthers and Banshees, and the obliged love story with none other than Grace Kelly !

and for a change, no good ending !
