My favourite use was on Lancaster ED825, which was one of the Dambusters aircraft. Though the gun was removed the actual appature remained and was discovered at the recent excavation of the aircraft

Interesting, thanks, I saw some footage of one lancaster shot dow in the operation, near the wreck a german soldier carried a twisted and burned machinegun wich was very much like the K model.
