What is the significance of your User-name?
32 Bravo - radio call sign for:
3 = 3rd Company
2 = 2nd platoon of the company
B = 2 section of the platoon.
Therefore 32Bravo = 2 section, 10 platoon, C Company.
When working with other arms, such as armour or artillery, they might have units with the same call sign, so a pre-fix address is added e.g. Tango 32 Bravo (tanks) India 32 Bravo (infantry), Golf 32 Bravo (artillery).

Mine's derived from a nickname...
And yes, when I created it as an off-the-cuff registration username just to get Van Halen bootleg songs, I had no intention of posting on message boards. Now I'm stuck with it...

Egorka
01-09-2008, 05:09 PM
Egorka derives from my real name - Igor.
"Egorka" relates to "Igor" the same way "Johnny" relates to "John".
It is also the way for me to show that I am not taking my self seriously and see my own flaws... unlike you, guys. :)

Smoothly so far... :)
You see I could have chosen nickname like "TheGreatRulerOfAllIgorsInTheWorld" but I chose the modest "Egorka".
On a serious note: In Russian Egorka has a sarcastic note to it.

Digger

digger. Australian soldiers are referred to as diggers, but that's not why I chose it. One of my workmates always calls me digger, probably because he forgets my real name.
It just stuck in my head when I joined.

flamethrowerguy...guess why...No,seriously. Actually I do not like flamethrowers very much. It's just the answer I gave to the head of the drafting commission at the end of the physical examination when he asked me what branch of service I'd like to join in the Bundeswehr.

Mine is navyson because my father was in the US navy in WW2. The 1 comes from the fact I had to re-register to be able to enter the forums because site messed up my e-mail address. :(

That was spelled Igor, but pronounced eye-gor it goes with the movable hump...
Mine comes from the unglamorous combination of my age, and my job in the army.

Mine comes from a lack of imagination and the fact I have no need to hide my identity. On forums where I wish to hide my identity I use the spoonerism Woapy Sit Tank.
