Not 100 percent sure about this gun being in the world war 2 era but it seems like I have seen it somewhere while looking at WW2 pictures in this book I got for christmas.

It doesnt look original, but there could be a golden luger, my guess a high officer or general would either givin as a award or they just ask for it to be made.
