Recently I've watched a report on TV about the search of ORP "Orzel", a polish submarine which was lost during a patrol on North Sea in 1940.
It is very possible that after over 60 years the wreck has been found.
A group of history enthusiasts organize an expedition in summer of 2007 in order to establish the position of ORP "Orzel".
For anyone intrested in the history of that ship, here's a link to the website:

No it wasn't the last one.

Polish Navy till 1939 used 5 submarines:
1. "Wilk" (Wolf) type, built in France:
ORP Wilk (Wolf)
ORP Rys (Lynx)
ORP Zbik (Wildcat)
2. "Orzel" (Eagle) type, built in Holland:
ORP Orzel (Eagle)
ORP Sep (Vulture)

During WW2 Polish Navy used also 3 other submarines:
1. "S-1" type, built in U.S.:
ORP Jastrzab (Hawk)
2. "U" type, built in Great Britain:
ORP Sokol (Falcon)
ORP Dzik (Boar)

The ORP Eagle is the most famous because of her escape from the port of Tallin when she was interned.
