Just an idea but I was thinking maybe once a week or so someone could give a small report/presentation on something about ww2. Nothing major but something general and not so mainstream. Example....Allies invade normandy. I think most know quite a bit about this. I was thinking things that will give that "didnt really know that" or "didnt know much about it feeling."

Anyhow some might be interested and some not. Or maybe everyone or no one. If some one would like to do one for next week that would be great. Just call it.

Also if you have any other ideas for weekly/time period events let me know by PM. Thanks

I may produce something on the Brandenburg Comandos.

That would be great if you would like to go ahead and do that. Whenever you have time.

Hi Folks,

did anybody heard about a raid of german troops from the channel island at Cherbourg to free some prisoners in 1945?
A british friend told me about that.
