I really doubt they will have a German campaign. This is what I'm hating about all these main steam WWII shooters. They are always the same. You follow the Americans into Normandy, the British in the desert, and the Russians. For once I would like to play the Germans entering greece, or play as a Japanese figher in a huge naval battle. Heck even better let me be a Finn defending his homeland against the ruskies.:)

The only reason that they don't have any Axis side FPS, is that well, I don't know! It would be nice to play as a Japanese or German soilder. What they don't understand is that the WWII FPS fans WANT to play as an Axis soilder. But the developers are too scared and lazy to create one.

I think the reason they don't include an Axis campaign is becuase they want to make the game more main steam. Yes WWII enthusiast like us know that the Wehrmacht wasn't all bad. But the average person/gamer dosn't want to play the hollywood portrayal of a good for nothing Nazi pig.

I know the perfect way game developers could show gamers Germans soilders were just the same as American or British. You flank around a German MG position, and they are heavily suppresed, hiding, and you can hear them whimpering, and then the hothead in your squad kills them all with his MG. I'm not sure if that would be the perfect example, but it would give you the impression, that Germans are humans just like American soilders. They hide, they cry, they weren't all part of the SS. To the sensative, that would give you an impression that Americans weren't all that nice just like how they portray Germans in CoD2, or BiA:EB.

That just does the opposite. It shows the Germans as being weak and over glorifing America.

Beside the polemics that it can cause, I honestly think that there is a couple of escenarios wich are very interesting to play in a german campaing, like the invation to the belgian Fortress of Eben Emael, The siege to Sebastopol, The Afrika Korps, there is only in the hands of the creators of action games, I think that is time for give up the prejudices and work on it.

i am looking foward to when call of duty 3 comes out in australia considering i have an xbox 360. i own all of the previouse games and am not the slitist bit disapointed. the fact of the matter is like outerheaven states is that i dont think they can put you through the eyes of the germans the reason i say this is because they can not over glorify america and the allies because it did not happen in the war. if they did put that in the game it would turn history and what the truth upside down. hay but i wouldnt be dissapointed if they did i reacon it would be quite intesting and hay it dosnt hurt to have something new once in a while!

American, British, Canadian, and Polish forces will be playable in single player.

This game is going to suck then. CoD had a good formula going with the US, UK, and USSR missions. Making the game based on one campaign only is going to make a lot of CoD fans leave them for good.

nobody buys a game for what it looks like really..... they have either played the games earlier in the series so they buy that one, they get told to get the game to they go rent it first and then buy it if they like it, or they reasearch it like watch as many movies about it and play the demo and beta versions of it.........

I do my research and the rent it and then might buy it if I really loved the game, like CoD Finest Hour on PS2, but the MoH EA just sucked so much I lost all faith in EA to create a great MoH again. I did not buy it and thought it was totally just a waste of time and money. The Best one on PS2 was the First MoH on PS2.

Did you try MOH: Pacific Assault? It looks a lot better than the previous versions and has "down the sight" aiming.

the last good MOH game was rising sun and then they started to decline, but IW will make a COD4 with japan and stuff like that but it will be their worst version yet and then they will stop there and continue on in making other games even though they will never amount to what the COD series was

Actually Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault was my favorite of all the MoH games. They unlike CoD changed the theme of the game a little and set it in the Pacific. If CoD isnt going to do that either, then at least they should keep it with the "big three" nations fighting Germany, being which USA, UK, and USSR. Since they arent doing that with CoD 3, I have a big feeling its going to suxxor bad. Ill still give it a try..........at least once.

The Jap one for me of MoH were not the fighting I wanted and the European one's gave me more of a kick. MoH Frontline was the best one on PS2. I have played all of the CoD on PS2 and must say loved them and gave me more of a kick if you can drive a tank or fly in a bomber than just fighting the whole time as a foot soldier.

Can not wait fot number three.

I'm think Breakthrough was not the best addon. THe MoH:Sperhead was much better on my mind.

just read this on the IW forums, COD3 is supose to come out only for PS2 and Gamecube.... it might also come out for PS3 and WII but theyd ont know about 360 yet. it s definatly not coming out for PC.......

all cod3 really is is a supped up version of cod2 it has better graphics and 3 new levels, we are just trying to give the sony and nintendo fanactics there "Turn"

Agreed. I cant wait for Microsoft Vista to come out since it will allow PC gamers to join console gamers in MP games. Console gamers will get owned so bad in any FPS game.

It really depends on what you prefer, when i think of call of duty of PC I think its going to be hard to aim, I see the exact opposite of the benefit of joystick and mouse and keyboard.

Well ive learned that there is always a up and down between consoles and pc games. They are going to target which ever is doing better at the moment. I bought Call of duty 3, its pretty impressive actually, I like the campaigns and missions. Some of the missions are a bit hard even on normal level.

Call of Duty 3 is very cool I just wish they could have put in some more tank action and some bomber missions and It would be perfect. I normally play a game at first at easy but it was still not easy. I bought myself Call of Duty 2 and 3 and enjoyed all three that came out on PS2. Now I have them all on PS2.

It is a online picture. I have played at this map no vehicles on this map. I do not remember a mission with this machine gun.

There is a mounted MG on that ledge, I should know cause I ran in there like a fool with out bothering to carefully check if there are any germans in there.
