I agree. I'm in Oz 22 years. Percentage of good looking females is somewhat low here...
Really low in comparison with Europe and South America.
Usually in every country I'm visiting, I'm trying to do simple test. 8)
Spend one hour sipping beer in a beer garden near street busy with pedestrian traffic.
In Europe nearly every twenty seconds you can see really stunning girl and even averages are worth looking.
I believe that in Argentina and Brasil it will be close to 5 seconds. :D
In Sydney and Melbourne you may wait 5 minutes to see something good and averages are outrageous. Mainly overweight.

I'm not saying that you cannot find good looking women in Australia but that one can feel some deficit... :D
