I have lots of information about the South African forces, particulary the famous Transvaal Scottish regiments, who fought with the British Black watch. I have this huge hardcover book with pictures and loads of info. I think if you want information about those forces please be specific. A general overview: South African forces fought all enemy forces in Africa and the Middle east. Some troops transfered to other countries units accross the world.

I added a couple of military topics in here just in case anyone has an interest in the Non-major coutries and what they did during WW2. Please feel free to add any that arent there. I just added the ones that I thought the current members might know something about and to help organize things a bit.

Does anybody have any info on The Dutch and Belguim forces. Not much to say coz they were over run rather quickly. Might be interesting to touch on their resistance movements.

You may find the story of the Belgian SAS of some interest here http://www.belgiansas.com/history.htm
The Dutch Army Orbat as at May 1940 is here http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Barracks/1247/
You will also find quite a lot on the net about the Princess Irene Brigade which was made of of those soldiers who managed to get to England when Holland was first occupied. A summary is here http://www.fuseliers.net/engels-brigade.htm
Hope that is a reasonable start.

Would you like to start a topic on the 2 and maybe it will help bring some Dutch and Flems :D to the site. Please feel free to elaborate a bit. For Belguim it would be cool if we could get a good pic or layout of Eban Emael fort.
