If you were in the Battle of Dunkirk in WW2, how would you (seriously or humorously) escape Dunkirk, if you had to - by air/land/sea and why?

I'd just have called my old Friend Mr. Limpet, he'd be happy to give us a ride back to England. After which, he would come and get you, and take you to the Beaches of Dunkerque so that you could find out the answer to your dubious question first hand.

I would have flapped my arms really hard and flown the hell out of there!!

Then I would have said, "I just flew from Dunkirk, and boy are my arms tired!!"
