Interesting photos - thanks for posting. The Me 410 was a moderately successful successor to the outdated Me Bf 110 heavy fighter, coming by way of the wholly unsuccessful Me 210. While it was reasonably successful in attacking US day bombers in 1943, and as a "fast bomber" in night attacks over England, it appears to have been a poor match with what was in some ways its equivalent - the British Mosquito used as a night-fighter, and no match at all for the US and British single-engine fighters increasingly encountered in day sorties as the war progressed. An interesting aircraft, nonetheless. Best regards, JR.

Huh really interesting I did a little reading after viewing the link. Seems like I need to read a lot more about the war. A interesting fighting/bomber plane. (to me it seem like it could do some dogfighting since it wasn't as large as most bombers.
