Could it not be a G.41 in the background, they are similar of what is seen.

Therefore, this should read either - The Failed attempt at the Relief of Stalingrad or - 3.Gebirgsjäger at Welikije Luki (Little Stalingrad)

No Gebirgsjäger at Stalingrad in November 1942.
