Pausing for a moment on their push to Arnhem, (Market-Garden, Sep. 1944) two British soldiers enjoy an impromptu picnic provided by a grateful Dutch girl. - British leaders found that the crowds of joyous civilians made it very difficult for their troops "to keep alive to the possibility of a German attack."   

Tea time

RAF ground personnel painting the British roundels over an Italian fighter captured intact. The aircraft has still the Fasci Littori (Fascist emblems) over the wings and the white cross on the rudder but has already received on the fin the British colors. The occurrence of this photo are unknown, but the airplane’s finish and the landscape suggest North Africa, end 1940 or beginning 1941 (absence of the fuselage white band). Victor Sierra

The Imperials (?). That's what one think in front of this photo at first sight. Anyway it's clear by what kind of uniforms George Lucas was inspired....
Note the arm-band in the upper left side; a Christmas gift advise... How about? I'm joking of course. DVX
