Description
I suppose some would not realise that a German Soldier was also very pleased to have some leave and see his two children. This photo was taken in Coswig by Dresden as we were evacuated there from Hamburg in 1940.
Really nice series of family 'photos. I am sure the last thing he wanted to do was leave his family for war - but that, I suppose, is war ... JR.
